A step-by-step guide to the full application process — from your first consultation to collecting your visa. Includes the standard embassy route and the online eVisa route for qualifying applicants.
For tourist, business, and student visa applicants. All steps must be completed before your embassy visit. Processing takes approximately 10 working days after submission.
For Kenyan passport holders who hold a valid visa from Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, the UK, the US, or any Schengen country. No embassy visit required.
These are the most common reasons Kenyan applicants are refused a Morocco visa. Every one of them is avoidable with proper preparation.
Missing items such as travel insurance, uncertified bank statements, or no National ID copy are an instant rejection trigger.
Bank statements showing less than the USD 5,000 recommended balance, or irregular account activity, raise serious concerns.
Mismatched dates across the cover letter, hotel booking, flight itinerary, and application form are the single most common rejection cause.
A vague, short, or poorly written cover letter that does not clearly explain your travel purpose and ties to Kenya significantly reduces approval chances.
A passport expiring within 6 months of your intended return date, or a passport in poor condition with unclear details.
Travel insurance is mandatory. Submitting without it, or with insurance that does not cover the full trip duration, will result in rejection.
All tourist, business, and student visa applications from Kenya must be submitted in person at the address below. Confirm opening hours directly with the embassy before your visit.

In person at the embassy — unless you hold a valid UK, US, Schengen, Australian, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand, Norwegian, or Japanese visa, in which case you can apply online via the Morocco eVisa portal.
